To the Appalachians
I came in on a Wednesday and got snow and arctic blast all in one week. I have to say it was fabulous; I get bored when it's always Fahrenheit 65, sunny and windy. Ok there was a bit more variation than that but on average it was dull. I missed wearing jackets and scarves and hats and well winter.
Talk about a right quick jump. Getting settled in is great; the cats are here bigger than ever, I'll post pictures of them next time seeing as I have to clean out the photos on my phone, I hadn't realized how much chaff is in there, geez.
The thing that is horrible about moving 3000 miles: my daughter is still there and I am here. Being the tween she is she's to busy at a new school and with her kindle to answer the phone; I've been delegated to text. Hopefully she'll get into the FFA at her new school though, she's interested and hasn't really taken a shine to other ventures, except sketching and drawing, yeah!
So we get face time when she answers the phone. Yes answers, unbelievable right? And we will have lovely humid summers.
Next time.... What's been cooking, crochetting and anything else that strikes my fancy.
